Consultation Call

A 20-minute call. Free of cost, free of pressure.

Therapy can be nerve-wracking, especially if you’re just getting started or re-engaging treatment with a new provider. Here’s some areas I usually cover in consultation calls to take away the fear of the unknown.

  • Reasons for seeking therapy in this current moment and any prior treatment.

  • What was helpful or unhelpful about previous experiences.

  • What areas of your life you most want to tend to.

  • Whether you’re interested in long-term or short-term work.

  • Vibe check. How are you feeling on the call itself? Feelings, even the intangible ones, are important to notice and follow.

Out-of-Network Benefits

Checking with your insurance.

I am an out-of-network provider, which means I’m not contracted with any insurance panel or plan. What I can provide is a superbill (a monthly receipt of session costs) that you can submit to your insurance company directly for reimbursement if you wish to use any out-of-network benefits.

The best way get clear on your benefits is to call your insurance company member services line. You can find this phone number on the back of your insurance card or through your online insurance platform.
